Requirements

• Master’s degree
• LIC-Licensed Nurse Practitioner – Tennessee
• Relevant Work Experience
• Strong foundation in evidence-based practice
• Clinical/technical competence

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents a complete history and physical examination for acute and complex chronically ill patients
• Orders and collects data using appropriate assessment techniques
• Serves as the first responder for patient status changes
• Coordinates daily rounds with the Attending physician teams
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary health care team in making diagnoses
• Formulates and documents a plan of care
• Prescribes diagnostic strategies and therapeutic interventions
• Maintains ongoing communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary health care team
• Documents key components of patient’s progress
• Demonstrates Professional Practice behaviors including preceptor/mentoring

Preferred Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of relevant work experience
