Requirements
- Master’s Degree
- NP License & RN License, or
- NP Certification & RN License, and
- CPR Certification
- 3-5 years RN or NP position preferred
Responsibilities
- Prescribe therapy or medication with physician approval as needed for symptom and pain management.
- Identifies/evaluates issues; reaches sound conclusions; generates alternatives; makes accurate and timely decisions with regard to sound patient care and communicates effectively with the Physicians and other medical specialists.
- Obtain, compile and record patient medical data, including health history, progress notes and results of physical examination.
- Provides discussions on goals of care with all patients and their families, to include social, emotional, nutritional and other support as needed.
- Utilizes interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships within the medical community.
Preferred Qualifications
