Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Minimum three years of computer experience to include word processing and spreadsheets.
- EPIC Informaticist certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities
- Works collaboratively with analyst teams, clinicians, departmental leadership, quality, accreditation and regulatory agencies, to clarify needs, prioritize and guide effective design workflow, execute change, and facilitate adaptation to the electronic medical record. These workflows support improvement measures, patient safety enhancement, and continuous improvement in overall efficiency related to the electronic medical record.
- Serve as a resource to end users for information systems and technology; effectively communicates system changes, workflow process changes, downtime procedures, etc.
- Contributes to the development of the practice of the profession within the institution and participates in the department’s clinical programs as well as participation in IT initiatives and programs.
- Oversight of the development and management of evidence-based Physician Order Sets across the Mcleod Health System, in accordance with clinical guidelines, regulatory agencies (CMS, DNV, Disease Specific Certifications) and organization standards.
- Rounds on clinical areas as needed on all McLeod Health campuses as applicable.
- Other duties as assigned.
