Requirements
- BSN
- 5 years of relevant experience related to area of focus
- RN state of MI upon hire
- BLS from AHA or ARC within 90 days
- Obtain nursing administration or professional/specialty certification within 12 months of assuming the role, or within 12 months of achieving eligibility to sit for the exam if not eligible upon hire in to the role.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates the professional role development and growth of nurses and other healthcare personnel along the continuum from novice to expert
- Functions in the roles of change agent, mentor, facilitator of learning, leader, champion of scientific inquiry, and partner for clinical practice transitions.
Preferred Qualifications
- MSN in Nursing Education or Adult Education
