NPI Production Planner

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or a related field.
5+ years of experience in production planning or project management, preferably in a prototype or manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to manage complex projects with tight deadlines and frequent changes.
Strong understanding of production planning principles and practices.
Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheets).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Develop and manage detailed project plans for prototype builds, including scope definition, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
Translate engineering designs and requirements into actionable build plans, considering material availability, lead times, equipment capacity, and labor resources.
Proactively identify and manage changes to project scope, requirements, and timelines.
Work closely with engineering, design, manufacturing, procurement, and other teams to ensure seamless execution of build plans.
Identify and assess potential risks to project timelines and budgets.
Effectively allocate and manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
Identify opportunities to improve build processes and increase efficiency.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including build plans, schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
