Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of three (3) years of hands‐on experience performing enterprise monitoring with tools such as Prometheus/Grafana, Cacti, Elastic, New Relic, ServiceNow ITOM, Net MRI or SolarWinds, Cisco CLI
- Cisco CCNA certification
- At least three (3) years of experience providing Tier‐3 troubleshooting of network incidents
- Experience documenting project requirements, standard operating procedures, and technical guides using Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Word
Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain enterprise monitoring infrastructure utilizing SNMP and Netflow using tools such as SolarWinds (NPM, NTA), NetMRI, ThousandEyes
- Provide transaction tracking within applications
- Conduct predictive analysis for hardware and software events
- Implement automated responses to events
- Use enterprise applications to configure infrastructure systems, upgrade software releases and resolve security vulnerabilities per vendor standards
- Adhere to vendor’s best practices and the Library’s processes when planning and executing upgrades and configuration changes
- Implement visualizations (such as dashboards) for technical and non‐technical users
- Implement alerting and notifications for the IT systems and their components
- Provide Tier-3 support and point of escalation to client’s network engineering team
- Participate in on call rotation and After hour maintenance windows as required
- Document project requirements, standard operating procedures, and technical guides using Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Word
