Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with network engineering, including designing, analyzing, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting complex network architectures
- Experience with networking platforms, including Cisco or Juniper, and firewall platforms, including Palo Alto
- Experience documenting network topologies and system requirements
- Knowledge of network routing protocols such as BGP, GRE, or Tunnels
- Knowledge of cybersecurity practices
- Ability to develop and conduct tests to ensure systems meet user requirements
- Ability to provide technical support, diagnoses, and resolve system problems
- Ability to write network implementation plans
- Top Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Support the client’s program by applying expertise in network routing, network design and architecture, system interoperability, and IP engineering
- Support program architecture operations and technology evolution
- Leverage network engineering to optimize client operations and drive modernization
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with government or DoD network operations, network architectures, or network services
- Experience with cybersecurity practices, including ACAS scans and STIG compliance
- Knowledge of securing communications architectures
- Ability to supervise others
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification
