Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network security.
  • Experience with network traffic analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark etc).
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and techniques.
  • Programming skills in Python or other relevant languages.
  • Strong foundation in Machine Learning. Experience with handling large datasets.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research on VPN protocols, architectures, and traffic patterns.
  • Analyze network traffic data to identify unique characteristics of VPN and residential proxy traffic.
  • Develop and evaluate machine learning models and algorithms for detecting VPN and residential proxy usage.
  • Investigate emerging trends in VPN technologies and residential IP spoofing techniques.
  • Contribute to designing and implementing new detection mechanisms for our products and services.
  • Document research findings and present results to the team.
