Requirements
- BS in a relevant technical discipline with less than 2 years of overall related experience, or MS in a relevant technical discipline
- Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and security practices
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Strong desire for continual learning and skills development
- Active Secret clearance with ability to be approved for Top Secret clearance
Responsibilities
- Provide Network Engineering support to include planning, designing, and evaluating specific network architecture
- Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Juniper network hardware and software
- Develop and manage policies and profiles to optimize application delivery and security
- Work with Tier 2 Managers to establish regular monitoring of network devices to ensure optimal performance
- Under the guidance of Cyber Team members, conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary updates and patches
- Work closely with network engineers, system administrators, and application developers to ensure seamless integration of network solutions
- Support Classified IT infrastructure
- Provide technical expertise to resolve networking events, as well as update and configure equipment while maintaining a configuration management process throughout the systems life cycle
Preferred Qualifications
- Juniper Certified or Cisco Certified
- RedHat support experience
- SD-WAN experience
- Experience with, or knowledge of SAFe Agile implementation
- Experience with large weapons systems and command and control platforms across the DoD portfolio
- Experience with, or knowledge of Cloud and Edge Computing and Networks
