Requirements
- 8+ Years of relevant Network Engineering skills
- Network management and monitoring tools (i.e., Riverbed)
- Cisco Nexus, Catalyst switches, ISR, ASR routers, and Cradlepoint LTE Routers
- Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers, Wireless Access Points, and ISE
- Routing – BGP, OSPF, HSRP, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM
- Switching – VLANs, rapid-PVST+, VPC
- IPSec, DMVPN, SD-WAN, and SD-Access technologies
Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of complex networks and assume the technical lead for multiple concurrent network projects
- Demonstrate specialized expertise in network design and data center operations
- Provide strategic and tactical direction for advanced network connectivity
- Serve as an escalation point and provide technical expertise and diagnosis in resolving complex network problems
- Extensive experience and deep knowledge of LAN, Wireless, and SD-WAN networks
- Extensive experience and deep understanding of data center networking in a virtualized environment using Cisco Nexus, Cisco UCS, and VMWare
- Lead, train, and mentor other Network Engineers
- Ensure network stability and performance through operational excellence and proactive maintenance
- Troubleshoot network problems; schedule upgrades; perform network analysis, root cause analysis, and optimization
- Ensure uptime and monitoring of all corporate network infrastructure and circuits
- Manage network upgrades, expansions, and new implementation projects
- Respond to tickets promptly and resolve the issue
- Deploy standardized systems and configurations as the business requirements evolve
- Collaborate on and document standard operating procedures for network support
- Participate in on-call rotation with other operations team members
