Requirements

  • 8+ Years of relevant Network Engineering skills
  • Network management and monitoring tools (i.e., Riverbed)
  • Cisco Nexus, Catalyst switches, ISR, ASR routers, and Cradlepoint LTE Routers
  • Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers, Wireless Access Points, and ISE
  • Routing – BGP, OSPF, HSRP, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM
  • Switching – VLANs, rapid-PVST+, VPC
  • IPSec, DMVPN, SD-WAN, and SD-Access technologies

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation of complex networks and assume the technical lead for multiple concurrent network projects
  • Demonstrate specialized expertise in network design and data center operations
  • Provide strategic and tactical direction for advanced network connectivity
  • Serve as an escalation point and provide technical expertise and diagnosis in resolving complex network problems
  • Extensive experience and deep knowledge of LAN, Wireless, and SD-WAN networks
  • Extensive experience and deep understanding of data center networking in a virtualized environment using Cisco Nexus, Cisco UCS, and VMWare
  • Lead, train, and mentor other Network Engineers
  • Ensure network stability and performance through operational excellence and proactive maintenance
  • Troubleshoot network problems; schedule upgrades; perform network analysis, root cause analysis, and optimization
  • Ensure uptime and monitoring of all corporate network infrastructure and circuits
  • Manage network upgrades, expansions, and new implementation projects
  • Respond to tickets promptly and resolve the issue
  • Deploy standardized systems and configurations as the business requirements evolve
  • Collaborate on and document standard operating procedures for network support
  • Participate in on-call rotation with other operations team members
