Requirements
- TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or related STEM degree and eight (8) years of progressively responsible network systems engineering experience. In lieu of a degree, at least twelve (12) years of experience is required.
- Active CISCO certification.
- Active DoD IAT Level II certification.
- Experience with Cisco IOS or JunOS.
- Experience developing networks from design through implementation.
- Experience with Ethernet Trunking and configuring Ethernet VLANs.
- Experience configuring multi-vendor network equipment; network test gear and testing network equipment; and NAT and Routing Protocols.
- Ability to demonstrate cyber/IT related experience with attention to detail, customer service, oral and written communication, and problem solving.
Responsibilities
- Help our Customer implement specific network solutions to support server requirements to include load balancing, VPN’s, firewall contexts, and network address translation (NAT) where appropriate.
- Play an integral part in designing solutions and integrating, configuring, deploying, testing, and providing ongoing maintenance for numerous types of network devices, interfaces, and methodologies.
- Provide assistance in all aspects of network management and network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of project design within the scope of Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements.
