Network Engineer

3+ years of experience in network administration or equivalent roles in medium to large organizations
History of driving and completing successful complex technical projects
Expert level understanding of interdependencies between various infrastructure components
Practical understanding of working within SLOs and SLIs
Excellent problem-solving/troubleshooting/debugging skills and attention to detail
Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs, considering automation, availability, performance, scale, and cost
Ability to adapt and embrace change and support business strategy and vision
Ability to communicate and present clearly and confidently to senior leaders
Fluency of English, both verbal and written, is essential
Ability to work independently of leadership

This position primarily concentrates on data center operations rather than cloud computing.
Continuously work to improve the reliability, stability, and performance of Broadridge applications;
Participate in periodic on-call (on/off business hours) escalations based on incident severity and established SLA’s
Lead by example, creating a healthy and professional people culture around him/her, encouraging creativity, growing and inspiring others.
Coordinate and report on project status against defined schedules and milestones

Experience in Fintech is considered a plus
Technical certifications are a plus (Net+/Sec+/AWS)
Networking (SonicWALL a plus)
Message queues (WebSphere MQ a plus)
Windows/Linux Server Administration (including physical rack/stack, lifecycle management) – with a primary focus is on Windows.
Building Build/Deployment Pipelines (Jenkins a plus)
Automation/ Configuration management tools (Ansible a plus)
File transmission software (CrushFTP, GoodSync a plus)
