Requirements
- Must hold an active secret level clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 8-12 years of experience in IT Network Architecture
- DoD 8140 Intermediate or equivalent industry certificate
- TOGAF, CCSP or SCEP Certifications
- ITIL v4 Foundation certification
- Proven ability to lead and facilitate meetings with diverse groups of stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Expertise in providing architectural governance facilitating agile engineering approaches, such as DevOps, DevSecOps, MBSE, and Zero Trust Architecture.
- Proficiency in creating MBSE products, aiding tech refreshes, and supporting system integration analysis for cyber-enabling services.
- Mastery in delivering engineering technical reports, maintenance releases, modifications, fixes, and managing hardware refreshes and cyber patching
- Capacity to supervise others and operate with significant autonomy in developing methodologies and presenting solutions to complex problems.
- Experience with change management tools and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow)
Responsibilities
- Leads architecture development, supporting enduringly interoperable C2 and cyber systems and operations services
- Manages, maintains, and evolves digital modeling and systems engineering for USSOUTHCOM lifecycle engineering across the IT project lifecycle
- Participates in the ITSM processes for upcoming changes to the Enterprise architectural products
- Directs incident and problem management activities within the A&E team
- Oversees MBSE with digital modeling for system design and RTM generation
- Leads in C5IM architecture, including MBSE As-Is Architectures
- Drives IT modernization and manages documentation across all sites
- Supports USSOUTHCOM Zero Trust Implementation
- Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments
- Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives
- Possesses domain and expert technical knowledge
- May supervise others
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a large, distributed IT enterprise
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and principles
