Network Administrator

Minimum 7-10 years IT experience
In depth knowledge of routing and VLANs
In-depth knowledge of Cisco Meraki technology
Extensive knowledge of Windows server/desktop operating systems and applications
Hosted cloud server experience
Experience with Domain name registrars
Service desk ticketing system experience
Networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
Network monitoring tools (Cisco Meraki)
Troubleshooting and diagnostic tools
GCP Knowledge
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical teams

Set up and configure network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points)
Implement and manage network protocols (TCP/IP) and address schemes
Configure firewalls, configure VMs, implement VPNs, and monitor for security breaches
Diagnose and resolve network issues quickly to minimize downtime
Monitor network performance and optimize for efficiency and speed
Use monitoring tools to track network performance, bandwidth usage, and threats
Generate reports on network health and suggest improvements
Ensure all systems are properly connected and functioning
Develop and implement comprehensive network backups and data recovery plans
Develop security and disaster recovery policies and procedures
Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps
Manage domain administration, ensuring proper configuration, security, and maintenance
Deliver technical reports for network performance to IT teams and management
Work with system admins to ensure smooth IT operations

Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but relevant industry experience may be considered as a substitute
CCNA Certification a plus
