Requirements
- Maintain Level 2 Certification in MPI and FPI NDT discipline
- High school diploma
- Must be a US Citizen
- 4-6 years of experience
- NDT Level 2 certifications – MPI and FPI
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Perform Non-destructive Testing (NDT) per Company procedures including Magnetic Particle (MPI) and Fluorescent Penetrate (FPI) inspections
- Determine and execute the most effective methods, sequences and procedures necessary for assigned NDT activities
- Create and record MPI Techniques and gain approval from responsible NDT Level 3
- Work from regulations, Codes, Standards, drawings and specifications where general data may require some interpretation
- Maintain minimum Level 2 certification in FPI and MPI
- Perform weekly, monthly and annual testing of equipment as required by specifications and interpret and record test results
