Requirements
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at a four-year university, pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or another relevant field
Responsibilities
- Learn details and functions within our cross-functional engineering team
- Perform device fabrication tasks in a cleanroom environment
- Characterize devices using parameter analyzers, function generators, and oscilloscopes
- Develop and execute test scripts to streamline data collection and analysis
- Document processes, collect data, and present results within the research group
- Learn and execute device and circuit modeling techniques, including finite-element software
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic experience in coding for data analysis (Matlab, Python, JMP)
- Able to collect, analyze, and clearly present technical data
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00
- Able to work 40 hours during the summer
- Able to work safely in the presence of laboratory hazards, including high-voltage equipment and corrosive chemicals, by using proper PPE and laboratory technique
