Requirements
- Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance with Polygraph.
- Language test scores equivalent to the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) Skill Level 3/3 in Listening and/or Reading within the past two years.
- Ability to conduct independent and collaborative research on assigned topics or target areas.
- Five or more years of experience in creating summaries, gists, and full translations in various textual forms of Chinese Mandarin including technical, global, colloquial, online, and slang terminology.
- Bachelor’s degree and ten years of experience.
- Five or more years performing open source research in target language.
Responsibilities
- Support Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Support to Human Intelligence (HUMINT), emerging technologies Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED), and Open-Source intelligence (OSINT) collection directed toward the identification, targeting, and exploitation of emerging threats.
- Provides linguistical analysis of signals intelligence, cyber, and Commercially Available Information (CAI) (ex. Commercial Telemetry Data (CTD)), including the execution of analytic functions, the performance of analytical services, and providing expertise to assist the government in day-to-day staff support functions.
- Provides specialized linguistical analysis to support the execution of multi-disciplinary intelligence fusion activities and support the SOFETOPS mission.
- Performs tools-based data management and supports integration across the greater enterprise.
- Conducts ongoing requirements analysis of theater-specific operations.
- Collaborates and coordinates with DoD and Interagency Partners to provide flexible, real-time solutions to emerging threats.
- Curates and supports the development of a counter-threat data repository.
- Identifies trends in threat development to anticipate future capabilities and reduce costs for the government.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting USASOC or Joint SOF organizations.
- Experience as a 35P, 1N3X1, 1A8X1, CTI, 267X or equivalent is preferred.
- Language proficiency in an additional language: Chinese/Russian.
- Experience working with CSS in targeting, intelligence analysis, and/or organizing global intelligence operations.
- Ten years of experience in intelligence analysis and organizing global intelligence operations.
- SIGINT or CYBER Analysis experience, and ability to demonstrate knowledge of databases and collections systems used in the development of intelligence products.
- Must be able to work independently with limited government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.
- Expert level knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of portals and other real or near real time knowledge management systems.
- Efficient in tools such as SLATE, and BLUESTEEL.
