Requirements
- Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Development and deployment in cloud environment (5 years)
- Programming in Object-oriented languages (Java) (5 years)
- Implementing CI/CD solutions to a cloud environment (5 years)
- Experience working with Docker (5 years)
- Experience working with UI (5 years)
- Experience working automating end-to-end testing (5 years)

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with major search engines and assist in piloting the latest initiatives and groundbreaking new techniques and approaches.
- Ensure that eBay’s most valuable pages are easily discoverable by search engines, appearing in relevant search results.
- Develop major applications and components that serve millions of users daily and respond to over a billion requests daily within tight SLAs.
- Develop high-quality Java applications that integrate with backend systems.
- Demonstrate expertise in software design and implementation, and provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to develop and improve the performance of individual team members and the success of the overall team.
- Drive architecture discussions, produce well-documented design docs, and participate in design and code reviews.
- Ensure code quality and maintainability by evolving architecture and tech stack, refactoring, standards, and improving build and test systems.
- Develop automated tests and deliver high-quality software code to production within a short development cycle in the continuous integration and delivery environment.
