Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent
- Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program
- 5 years of relevant clinical experience required
- 3 years of relevant experience modality specific
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
- CRT-American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (MRI) – ARMRIT American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists Certification Upon Hire Required
- CRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI) – ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification Upon Hire Required
Responsibilities
- Plans and develops MRI modality orientation and training programs
- Directly involved in the assessment process
- Develops new strategies for revenue/research opportunities in the MRI modality
- Facilitates continuous improvement processes and assess modality employee educational needs and requirements
- Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure when required
- Provides education for research to physicians and employees in operation of medical equipment and protocols as needed
- Acts as a liaison to ancillary areas involved or those areas that would benefit in terms of cardiovascular research.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous training and/or education experience preferred
- Supervisory or lead technologist role experience preferred
