Requirements
- Two (2) Years of College
- American Registry Radiologic Technologists in MRI- ARRT,(R), (MR) and /or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists – ARMRIT
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers
- 2 years’ experience performing MRI/MRA
- Advanced training in breast MRI and vascular MPR/IVI post processing
- Proficient computer skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
Responsibilities
- Performs all MRI/MRA procedures, abdominal, pelvic, head/skull, thorax, breast and extremities
- Provides quality MRI images for interpretation
- Demonstrated knowledge of advanced computer applications including PACS and Image manipulation for image enhancement
- Demonstrated understanding of the principals involved in MRI and the ability to adjust them to each patient
- Participates and supports continuous quality improvement
- Performs other duties as assigned
