Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience storyboarding and creating high-quality motion graphics for games, interactive experiences, or other media
  • Experience animating celebrations, UI systems, animatics, notifications and HUDs
  • Experience with real-time particle and VFX-based animations
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

Responsibilities

  • Create UI animatics from UI and art assets, following the League of Legends quality, style and motion conventions
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to create motion experiences both in-game and out of game in the League Client
  • Guide style and workflow improvements to unlock the potential for future artists
  • Balance craft and product feedback with empathy and focus on player experience
  • Understand and work within the League’s game engine to assist engineers with the implement of motion graphics in the game

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in 3D with motion including Maya, 3DSMax, Cinema4D, or other industry standard software
  • Experience in Unity, Unreal, or other game engines
  • Experience with Perforce
  • Experience in Figma
  • Knowledge of best practices for optimized implementation
