Requirements
- Knowledge of Wellby’s organizational functions, and general operating policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of secretarial practices and procedures, business English, spelling, and punctuation.
- Knowledge of personal computer, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.
- Skilled in operating computer equipment and general office machines such as personal computers, copiers, projection equipment, audio/video, Microsoft Teams, Zoom Video Communications, and adding machines.
- Ability to interpret regulations affecting the Credit Union
- Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Ability to problem solves, investigate complex issues including not limited to property taxes, Insurance, advanced escrow.
- Ability to work effectively across organizational departments and functions to achieve strategic goals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.
- Ability to motivate others and to work in a large cross-functional team dynamic.
- Ability to efficiently understand and follow oral and written instructions, perform routine duties without close supervision and establish and maintain effective working relationships with other team members.

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one (1) to three (3) years of mortgage servicing experience required.
Responsibilities

- Assist with Team Chats, Phone Calls, etc. with all existing Mortgage Related inquiries.
- Review payment options and assist members with setting up automated payments.
- Review & Approve Mortgage Wire Requests
- Home Equity & 1st Mortgage loan boardings to DMI.
- Wire initial escrow funds to DMI.
- Wire daily payment funds to DMI.
- Process Release of Lien documents
- Sort daily mail
- File Real Estate Deed of Trusts & Modifications with the appropriate county.
- Prepare HELOC and Home Improvement Draws.
- Close Internal HELOC’s at borrower request.
- Assist Title Company with payoff requests.
- Prepare original files for in-house storage.
- Download Mortgage Servicing File in preparation for DMI.
- Pull mortgage files for paid in full loans and mail the Deed of Trust / Note to appropriate party and prepare the remainder of the file for scanning /storage.
- Review DMI Loss Mitigation packets & Foreclosure Accounts.
- Understand the Secondary Market
- Prepare files to send to GSEs.
- Create and review Early Payoff reports.
- Quality Assurance Checklists to ensure service standards meets contractual and GSE performance metrics.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
