Requirements
- Minimum 2 – 3 years residential mortgage processing experience with working knowledge of other job functions (origination, closing, secondary marketing) preferred
- Working knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Exceptional time management and attention to detail skills are necessary
- Obtain Mortgage Loan Officer license within 180 days, if not already licensed
- Desktop Underwriting (DU) and/or Loan Product Advisor (LPA) experience required
Responsibilities
- Ensure loan application meet company standards for completeness and identify any gaps for MLO’s
- Communicate and respond to internal stakeholders (Branch Managers, MLO’s, Sales Directors) in a timely and professional manner
- Utilize pipeline reports to effectively manage loans to prioritize daily workflow
- Become proficient with point of sale and Lender portal/loan origination systems
- Maintain current knowledge of guidelines and loan programs
- Build relationships with MLOs Branch Managers
- Perform other related duties as required
Preferred Qualifications
- FHA/VA product experience preferred, but not required
