Mortgage Insurance Specialist

High school diploma or equivalent, required.
Minimum of 1+ years residential mortgage loan servicing experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Detail oriented with excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Proven ability to work well both independently and as a team member
Ability to make sound decisions based upon department, company policies, procedures, knowledge, and experience
Flexible to changing priorities, project scopes, and deadlines
Excellent work ethic, high productivity, and acute attention to detail

Update MI lines on the system of record to maintain accurate records.
Complete and maintain monthly portfolio audits.
Process bulk batch payments of MI premiums on a monthly basis.
Order and evaluate appraisals when appropriate.
Review and complete MI related research items via task work queue.
Review and process MI cancellation requests including ordering new valuations.
Ensures accounts are properly documented with accurate and comprehensive status updates.
Follows established company guidelines, department policies and procedures.
Entering daily productivity into department database.
Ensures compliance with all investor and state guidelines.
Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor.
