Requirements
- Ten (10) years’ experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional system administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Extensive experience in DevOps practices with a focus on automation, continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), and cloud-native technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration, including experience in managing, deploying, and scaling containerized applications in production environments.
- Expertise in AWS services and architecture, with a strong understanding of cloud security and cost optimization.
- Proficiency in Linux server security and administration, with hands-on experience in hardening, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Solid experience in managing Windows servers, including patching, troubleshooting, and security measures.
- Hands-on experience in Docker administration, including container creation, management, deployment, and troubleshooting in development and production environments.
- Experience in the lifecycle management of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) certificates, including renewal and replacement processes.
- In-depth understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) for automating build, test, and deployment pipelines.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and management of Windows-based systems and infrastructure.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational problems independently, with a focus on automation and scalability.
- Current understanding of best practices for implementing system security measures in cloud-based and on-premises environments.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with development and operations teams to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines that streamline software delivery and enhance collaboration.
- Be at the forefront of Kubernetes orchestration, deploying and managing containerized applications at scale.
- Help migrate infrastructure into the AWS cloud environment.
- Build and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure solutions that align with best practices and ensure high availability, performance, and security.
