Requirements
- BA/BS in the relevant field and 6+ years of relevant experience (or 10+ years of experience without a degree)
- A US DoD Secret security clearance is required.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of the larger GDIT Navy and Marine Corps Sector.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
- Supports Interface Engineering activities across the program
- Draws on experience to resolve interface design problems
- Supports reviews of engineering drawings and documentation on CI/NDI and MILSPEC equipment
- Supports interface with equipment In-Service Engineering Agencies (ISEA), Combat Systems Engineering Agents (CSEA) and Software Support Activities (SSA) as required
- Draws on experience to suggest resolutions for element, multi-element, and weapon or combat system hardware, interface, and interoperability issues
- Suggests ways that components and systems interface through cables
- Suggests ways to select cable types, understanding cabling that is approved for shipboard use and the standards and requirements for shipboard cabling with respect to interface of electrical/electronic component, and development of cable run sheets in addition to cable/connector selections based on interface requirements.
