Requirements
- Current TS/SCI clearance
- Willingness to obtain a CI Polygraph
- 5 points of relevant background: (High School AND 5 years’ relevant military or full-time geospatial professional experience, or High School and 4 years + GPC level I and II, or relevant BS degree + 2 years’ experience)
- Experience in geography, cartography, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) including skill in ArcGIS applications
- Experience in creating shapefiles, geo-databases, and features
- Knowledge of digital cartography, image processing, geographical information systems (GIS), geospatial production techniques, and NGA digital data formats
- Ability to analyze imagery and non-imagery source information for application to NGA hydrographic products and databases.
Responsibilities
- Provide Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion, Production and Review
- Support existing and developing mission areas
- Perform Cartographic and GIS analyst functions
- Extract features from a variety of sources including rasterized nautical charts, digital hydrographic survey data, and ortho-rectified imagery
- Update source and source catalogs and information
- Data Conversion/migration
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Nautical Maritime experience
