Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or other field and demonstrated experience
- Five(5) plus years of related work experience in manufacturing
- Extensive knowledge of plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems, HVAC, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret building, equipment, and systems related documents to include schematics, operating manuals, prints, etc.
- Sets a high expectation for sense of urgency, results, organization, and work quality in organization
- Strong supplier negotiating skills
- High level of problem solving ability
- Supervisory experience
- Demonstrated leadership ability
Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance and facilities department and routine duties and tasks associated with general repair and upkeep of the facilities and its assets.
- Provide technical expertise, costing, and project management for improvement projects in facility infrastructure, grounds, and production and production support equipment.
- Develop and manage expense and capital budgets.
- Research market for qualified suppliers of materials and services.
- Develop and implement energy conservation and support safety projects.
- Assist Finance with development of facility support operating budget and ensure compliance with established budget.
- Oversee contracted services related to facility support and projects.
- High level of contractor management to meet expectations for safety, cost, timing, and quality.
- Must be on-call to assist in expediting and monitoring emergency repairs and responding to building alarms.
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and AutoCAD
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
