Requirements
- Associate’s degree in electrical/electronic technology or Associate’s degree in Industrial Electronics or Power Electronics
- State Driver’s License
- Successfully complete the Company’s training and qualification program for this position within 24 months of employment
- Proficiently use computers and applications related to this position
- Effectively communicate with other employees, customers, and the general public in a courteous and appropriate manner
Responsibilities
- Read meters as required for field order and on schedule for cycle billing
- Install, remove, change disconnect, and reconnect meters
- Test single phase, network, and polyphase self-contained meter for proper operation and accuracy
- Perform Credit and Collections related order including disconnect and reconnect for non-payment
- Investigate irregular usage and energy diversion
- Repair meters, meter sockets, and meter enclosures
- Order, receive, ship, store, and inventory meter and associated equipment
- Investigate self-contained service power quality problems, install event recorders, neutral testers, and produce reports
- Perform work from ladders and elevated platforms
