Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Cleared Criminal Record clearance through the Department of Social Services prior to presence in the community.
- Health screening and TB test results not older than 6 months.
- Current First Aid Training and Certifications as per Title 22.
- A current RN license issued by the State of California is required.
- Working knowledge of computers and typing, sufficient enough to be successful with computerized Point of Care and other systems.
- Minimum of six months in long term care, home care or related field.
- Demonstrated competence in technical and manual skills according to the scope of practice for RN’s.
Responsibilities
- Support our Director of Nursing with assessments, admissions, fill in with community support, and be a trusted advocate for our incredible residents and team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Assisted Living or Long-term Care (2 years or more) preferred.
- Have flexibility, able to work the occasional weekend/holiday as needed.
- Provide leadership and supervision to nursing team members.
- Have knowledge of DHS Regulations.
- Possess superb interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well and collaboratively with team members and external constituents.
