Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1–2 years of experience in retail, merchandising, marketing coordination, or a related field preferred.
  • Exceptional written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple timelines and priorities.
  • Self-motivated team player with a genuine pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • Comfortable with administrative tasks and frequent data entry.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter promotional deals into ABC’s promotion engines and conduct thorough testing to ensure functionality.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and distributors to verify deal contract submissions, providing clear guidance and follow-up communication as needed.
  • Distribute all promotional deal information and communicate any mid-cycle changes to relevant internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Populate and maintain the monthly Merchandising Product List (MPL), ensuring featured items for in-store displays are accurately captured.
  • Review and validate the monthly merchandising planners, confirming all necessary item, deal and signage information is included.
  • Draft detailed creative briefs to support the development of monthly in-store signage.
  • Collaborate with store teams to maintain and routinely update the store signage distribution list, ensuring accuracy and reducing the need for post-distribution corrections.
  • Review marketing creative to confirm promotional messaging aligns with deal details and program objectives.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration between marketing, purchasing, sales and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of promotions and merchandising programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of promotional timelines, deal changes and approval checkpoints to ensure compliance.
  • Participate in the planning and rollout of new merchandising initiatives, including ABC private label floor displays and pilot programs.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes related to deal entry, signage distribution and promotional workflow efficiency.

  • 1–2 years of experience in retail, merchandising, marketing coordination, or a related field preferred.
