Requirements
- Completed fundamental or advanced coursework in marketing, public relations, nonprofit management, English, or related program at the college level.
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT, and Teams.
- Demonstrated experience in Canva preferred and or Adobe Illustrator.
- Willingness to learn fundraising CRM preferred such as Salesforce, Tessitura, Advance, or Donor Perfect.
- Willingness to work in a nonprofit setting preferred.
- Ability to accept and synthesize constructive critique of work.
- Valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Willingness to learn the creation and implementation of member-centric stewardship and cultivation strategies.
- Work with the donor relations branch to ensure the planning, scheduling, implementation, and tracking of member events and programs across both institutions.
- Work closely with the Special Events and Culinary departments to plan member events and ensure optimum quality.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and success of all member events and programs.
- Learn Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and the Momentary’s museum collection.
- Learn CRM database system Tessitura.
- Connect with museum departments, including Guest Experience, Data Strategy, and Membership, to assess and improve cross-functional processes.
- Learn to build internal and external relationships.
- Communicate with partnering institutions and peer organizations to learn membership best practices.
- Attend Director’s Receptions and other member events.
- Flexibility to attend/support events outside of regular working hours.
- Assist in monitoring the member benefits programs, including member recognition, routine and special correspondence, gift reporting and acknowledging, renewal letters, and member cards in collaboration with gift processing colleagues.
- Assist in monitoring the effectiveness of membership campaigns, including but not limited to direct mail, renewal, on-site, off-site, etc. in a timely, creative, and strategic manner.
Preferred Qualifications
