Requirements

  • BS degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Solid State Physics, Chemical or other relevant engineering physical science discipline is required or related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of semiconductor process engineering experience
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, internal and external partners
  • Fluency in English Language – written & verbal

Responsibilities

  • Develops and modifies process formulations, methods and controls to meet quality standards
  • Create, analyze and review technical charts
  • Be able to use critical thinking and problem solving skills to solve challenging, complex problems
  • Be open-minded and work collaboratively with others
  • Responsible for availability of owned toolsets while meeting quality standards
  • Responsible for meeting quality targets for owned toolsets
  • Establish SOP (Standard operating process) and FMEA (Failure mode and effects analysis) for related processes
  • Understand product development requirements and qualify processes on owned toolsets to meet those requirements
  • Integrates equipment and material capabilities to meet process module and technology specifications
  • Drive CIP (Continuous improvement plans) to improve process performance cost, throughput, and yield
  • Lead cross functional teams to deliver organizational goals
  • Mentor engineers and process technicians to develop talent within the organization
  • Able to time manage effectively and prioritize projects independently
  • Able to lead projects independently and deliver on committed dates for closure

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of semiconductor/silicon processing
  • Understanding and knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE)
  • Prior experience working in a semiconductor cleanroom environment
  • Prior experience working as an engineer in semiconductor manufacturing
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, and internal and external partners
  • Project management skills – i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning & organizational skills
