Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in content writing, preferably within a design, digital content, or marketing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proven ability to distill complex design and technology concepts into clear, engaging, and accessible content.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and how to integrate them into written content.
  • Experience conducting website content audits and implementing improvements.
  • Ability to write across multiple platforms, including websites, blogs, case studies, white papers, social media, and marketing materials.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.
  • The ability to translate English to Spanish and utilize AI translate additional languages.

Responsibilities

  • Develop original, high-quality written content across various platforms, including websites, blogs, email campaigns, case studies, video, white papers, and social media, ensuring alignment with the brand’s design ethos.
  • Regularly audit and update website content to ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging. Optimize website copy for SEO, user experience, and readability, ensuring it reflects design-driven thinking and brand identity.
  • Collaborate with the SEO team to integrate relevant keywords and implement SEO best practices across all written content. Ensure that web content is optimized for both search engines and user engagement.
  • Develop detailed case studies and white papers that highlight successful design projects, client collaborations, and innovative solutions. Provide clear, well-researched, and data-driven content that showcases the value of our design strategies.
  • Write informative and engaging blog posts on topics related to design trends, best practices, industry news, and thought leadership. Position the brand as an expert in design while providing content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Create engaging copy for social media that complements design visuals and supports broader design campaigns. Ensure content is consistent with the overall brand voice and messaging.
  • Conduct regular audits of all content to evaluate its performance and alignment with brand guidelines. Identify opportunities for improvement and ensure content remains relevant, up-to-date, and aligned with the company’s evolving design strategy.
  • Work closely with the design, UX, and marketing teams to ensure content supports and enhances design projects. Align written content with visual elements to create a cohesive user experience.
  • Review and edit content for clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines. Ensure all content is free from grammatical errors and is ready for publication.
  • Contribute to content strategy development by providing insights and recommendations that align with design objectives. Identify content trends and opportunities that support design-driven marketing campaigns and user experience improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using SEO tools for keyword research and content optimization.
  • Familiarity with content analytics tools to measure performance and guide improvements.
