Medical Assistant – Ipa

Requirements

• Medical Assistant certificate along with a high school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a back office Medical Assistant required.
• Prior experience as a Lead MA strongly preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the provision of direct patient care by performing routine patient care procedures alongside technical and clerical support services within the IPA clinical setting.
• Build relationships with IPA back office and front office teams, listening to them, and supporting their clinical needs.
• Demonstrate compassion and respect and be proactive in managing patient, staff, and provider expectations.
• Assist with informing best practice in front office administrative responsibilities alongside back office support and training to IPA providers and staff.
• Assist in achieving shared department goals and objectives as an MA team leader and trainer.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Lead MA strongly preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
