Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with multiple suppliers and processing incoming and outgoing materials
- Prior work experience with Microsoft Office software applications (Word, PowerPoint, and/or Excel including Pivot Tables)
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Support the Lead MPM in developing, managing, and executing the MPS (Material Program Strategy) and the MPP (Material Program Plan) to enable successful execution of program performance to customer requirements, from the front end of the business through contract closure
- Generate various supply chain reports, analyze data, plan and take meaningful actions
- Partner cross-functionally with Program Office, Engineering, Quality and Logistics, Operations to resolve part and supplier complications
- Monitor performance metrics and proactively act to address program and functional issues
- Prepare and present information (verbally and written) to key stakeholders
- Handle weekly material sales forecasting
- Travel as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Experience interfacing with all levels of internal management
- Raytheon CORE or similar Six Sigma Specialist
- Commitment to obtain MPM Level 4, PM Level 6 and EVMS certification in first year.
