Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of databases and SQL
  • Experience with Cabinet Vision or another CAD type of program, preferred
  • CNC programming experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of various types of manufacturing equipment, including saws and CNC machines.
  • Sense of urgency with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specs
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and possess a positive attitude

Responsibilities

  • Support the CARE values of the organization.
  • Commit to producing a quality product for our customers.
  • Look for opportunities to minimize waste and maximize output of material through saw optimization software.
  • Understand the flow of parts and pieces of various product lines through the plant to maximize efficiency and product utilization.
  • Verify the bill of materials and CNC programs to be released to the shop.
  • Monitor the inventory of sheet goods and CNC tooling.
  • Work with Engineering and Production to troubleshoot any machining issues due to programming or special cabinet construction.
  • Understanding of basic machine operations and distinguishing proper tooling to assign for each machining action.
  • Work with shop floor personnel and supervisors on issues and manufacturing concerns to ensure proper and efficient flow of parts.
  • Work with Engineering and Customer Service on processing Q orders in a timely manner.
  • Maintain an understanding of all the materials, processes, and tooling used to manufacture the approved scope of work.
  • Effectively manages time and prioritizes assigned tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
