Material Optimization Coordinator

Proficient in Microsoft Office
Understanding of databases and SQL
Experience with Cabinet Vision or another CAD type of program, preferred
CNC programming experience preferred
Working knowledge of various types of manufacturing equipment, including saws and CNC machines.
Sense of urgency with the ability to work well under pressure
Ability to read and interpret plans and specs
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and possess a positive attitude

Look for opportunities to minimize waste and maximize output of material through saw optimization software.
Understand the flow of parts and pieces of various product lines through the plant to maximize efficiency and product utilization.
Verify the bill of materials and CNC programs to be released to the shop.
Monitor the inventory of sheet goods and CNC tooling.
Work with Engineering and Production to troubleshoot any machining issues due to programming or special cabinet construction.
Understanding of basic machine operations and distinguishing proper tooling to assign for each machining action.
Work with shop floor personnel and supervisors on issues and manufacturing concerns to ensure proper and efficient flow of parts.
Work with Engineering and Customer Service on processing Q orders in a timely manner.
Maintain an understanding of all the materials, processes, and tooling used to manufacture the approved scope of work.
Effectively manages time and prioritizes assigned tasks.
