Requirements
- 3-4 years’ experience in a Crop Insurance, Marketing, or Technology Training role.
Responsibilities
- General writing and editing of promotional content, product announcements, and feature highlights.
- Ensure messaging aligns with brand voice and strategic goals.
- Develop visually engaging materials, including infographics, newsletters, and product spotlights.
- Assist in contact management within the system around communication and notifications.
- Author clear, user-friendly brochures, handouts, social media pieces, technology guides, and how-to documentation for new and existing system features and crop insurance products.
- Create and edit promotional and instructional videos and tutorials that simplify complex topics for a broad audience.
- Assist in maintaining and update existing promotional materials and documentation as products evolve.
- Copy-editing of all marketing, training, and communication rollouts.
- Ability to create, review, and edit internal process documents.
- Work with Sales and Support to deliver consistent, customer-friendly messaging.
- Gather feedback from end-users and the sales team to continuously improve promotional, training, and communication materials.
- Provide frontline assistance during major tech rollouts and gather feedback to pass along to product teams.
- Stay aligned with the technology release cycle – learn and evaluate new features and enhancements.
- Develop and deliver demos and virtual/live training sessions for internal sales teams and external users.
- Assist in the support and troubleshooting of new technology features during and after rollout.
- Assistance in meeting setups and communication rollouts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in marketing, training, or technical writing – preferably in agriculture, crop insurance, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of crop insurance processes and terminology is highly preferred.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, concise content.
- Comfortable creating video content and using video editing software or screen recording tools (e.g., Camtasia, Acorn, Loom, Adobe Premiere).
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments and present confidently.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS), CRM platforms, or customer support systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills.
