Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in B2B SaaS marketing, ideally at a company with a similar product-led sales motion and/or that builds a devtool
  • Deep understanding of marketing to engineers – must be technical enough to appreciate and communicate Graphite’s product
  • Experience planning and executing on a successful marketing campaign end-to-end, across multiple channels
  • Has seen and understands what a great marketing organization and process looks like
  • Willing and excited to get their hands dirty as an IC (vs. hiring a team immediately)
  • Scrappy and autonomous – solves problems independently and efficiently
  • Organized, quantitative, and iterative – constantly tracks, measures, and improves upon their own processes
  • Ownership mentality – goes above and beyond to help the company succeed
  • Leadership – creates scalable processes that others can follow, builds strong cross-functional relationships, helps to define a strong marketing team culture

Responsibilities

  • Define and build alignment around Graphite’s outward-facing messaging and brand voice
  • Plan and execute on a comprehensive marketing strategy for Graphite, across multiple channels:
  • Define the campaign’s concept and messaging, build internal alignment
  • Work with design to create associated content & creative (e.g. ad creative, videos, blog posts, landing pages)
  • Implement the campaign across channels (personally + with team/contractors)
  • Measure the campaign’s success across each channel and iterate/adjust strategy as needed
  • Scale the marketing organization with strong hires as Graphite grows

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in or experience working on developer tools
  • Comfort with creative tools (image and video editing)
  • Formal experience in copywriting
