Requirements
- Strong track record of on-the-ground success building provider relationships in the Alabama market
- 8–10+ years of experience in provider engagement, healthcare account management, or value-based care operations
- Experience owning end-to-end customer relationships and delivering measurable results in an early-stage, high-growth healthcare setting
- Ability to thrive in unstructured environments and build things from the ground up
- Knowledge of the Alabama provider landscape and strong local relationships in primary care
- Understanding of EHR workflows, risk-based payment models, and Medicare Advantage (training will be provided if not known)
- Ability to influence and build trust with physicians, staff, and healthcare executives
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout Alabama (up to 75%)
Responsibilities
- Introduce, pitch, sell, sign, onboard, manage, retain, and grow primary care practices in Alabama
- Develop deep, consultative relationships with providers and staff that lead to strong adoption and long-term satisfaction
- Establish repeatable engagement workflows, training materials, and playbooks to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across the region
- Represent Counterpart Health in the Alabama healthcare community—driving awareness, trust, and advocacy
- Use performance metrics and insights to steer interventions, guide conversations, and continuously improve the provider experience
- Represent Counterpart Health in meetings with C-suite and clinical leadership, articulating our strategic value and performance outcomes
- Recruit, onboard, and coach a team of high-performing Senior Account Managers across Alabama to support adoption, training, and long-term success with Counterpart Assistant
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in primary care leadership (MD, DO, NP)
- Experience in PCP-facing software sales (EHR, Practice management, etc)
- Experience in network development for a health insurance plan
- Experience in primary care pharmaceutical / vaccine sales
