Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (ME, Supply Chain, Industrial) or equivalent experience
- 5 years of related experience (Manufacturing or Supply chain or Industrial Engineering)
- Knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, assembly processes and mainly of LMS (Lean Material Strategies) principles
- Experience with automation project execution, understanding the principles and concepts related to material flow automation
- High level of analytical ability & problem solving where problems are unusual and difficult
- Experience with using AutoCAD, Factory cad or equivalent, MS-Office tools (Excel – advanced level, Access, Project, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Industrial Engineering skills and techniques like Time studies principles like GMOS or STDS
- Previous experience as Project Lead, with the ability to coordinate resources, provide leadership updates, report status, escalate and track timelines
- Experience to integrate systems or processes through suppliers
- Ability to manage and analyze data
- Ability to travel 33% of the time within the United States.
Responsibilities
- Determine labor impact through work measurement, line balance, simulation, and confirmation of takt time for optimization projects
- Develop and support Preventive Maintenance Plan and assignments for new optimization projects
- Develop/revise operational plans JES (Job Element Sheet)/ TIS (Task Instruction Sheet) revisions, ULOC (User Location) /DLOC (Delivery Location), CMA Coordination
- Use facility layouts and PFEP (Plan for every part) for materials processes analysis
- Responsible for program management activities, including timelines and Masterdot tracking, project cost management, budget forecast, etc
- Responsible for planning and executing the whole materials automation strategy on the shop floor with the designated optimization supplier and plant teams, including integration and installation of systems and PLC’s, electrical components, sensors, hoist, etc, that improve supply chain, warehousing, and material flow
- Responsible for all Safety Contract Management activities that may be required to have a supplier installing equipment in our plants
- Complete project plan reviews with the local production management teams for future implementations. Understand local contractual considerations for all projects
- Responsible for leading the project Launch on the shop floor providing on-site Go-live and Post-Launch support to stabilize and troubleshoot issues
- Responsible for training plant operators and to provide technical Launch/Post-Launch support and assistance to materials, manufacturing and maintenance team members, production supervisors and production associates on the new technologies deployed
- Ability to travel 33% of the time within the United States.
