Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Ten (10) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Five (5) years of manufacturing operations leadership in a private, public, government or military environment
- Current, valid Driver’s License.
Responsibilities
- Consults with leadership team to set medium- to long-term strategic direction and operating plans for a large sized manufacturing operation.
- Develops business strategies and creates solutions for complex and multi-faceted problems.
- Ensures products are manufactured on schedule, and within quality standards and cost objectives.
- Implements manufacturing standards and defines guidelines for assigned area(s). Plans, organizes, and directs all manufacturing activities and policies.
- Leading manufacturing teams to meet and exceed aggressive performance deliverables
- Implement employee led improvements to systems and processes that help insure their jobs are safer and more efficient
- Determines team develop plans and secures resources to implement them
- Willingness to support operations with a flexible personal schedule in support of a 24/7 operation, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Science or business related field, from an accredited institution
- Seven (7) years of manufacturing leadership in a private, public, government or military environment
- Skills include: Facilitative Leadership, Strategic plan development, Project/Plan Implementation Management, Change management implementation
