Manufacturing Manager – Night Shift

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Shift Manager in a large, high-volume manufacturing environment; or at least eight (8) years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a large, high-volume manufacturing setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving operational excellence
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing production challenges
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with manufacturing software and reporting tools

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and hourly employees, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement
Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality standards and operational efficiency
Monitor production metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to optimize workflow
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to troubleshoot production issues and ensure minimal downtime
Lead shift meetings to communicate production goals, safety protocols, and updates to the team
Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safety awareness among all team members
Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency
Ensures all procedures, reporting, and policies are followed and has authority to directly address or correct any non-conformance. Completes or ensures proper paperwork, record-keeping, data entry.

Experience with lean manufacturing or similar continuous process improvement is preferred.
