Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Shift Manager in a large, high-volume manufacturing environment; or at least eight (8) years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a large, high-volume manufacturing setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving operational excellence
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing production challenges
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with manufacturing software and reporting tools

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and hourly employees, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement
  • Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality standards and operational efficiency
  • Monitor production metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to optimize workflow
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to troubleshoot production issues and ensure minimal downtime
  • Lead shift meetings to communicate production goals, safety protocols, and updates to the team
  • Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safety awareness among all team members
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency
  • Ensures all procedures, reporting, and policies are followed and has authority to directly address or correct any non-conformance. Completes or ensures proper paperwork, record-keeping, data entry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with lean manufacturing or similar continuous process improvement is preferred.
