Requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required, including data acquisition and analysis.
- Excellent communication and people skills required.
- Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively prepare and deliver technical reports.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities

- Develop oneself to obtain a robust understanding of production procedures and tasks, including 3D printing of production components, electric assembly of devices, service and repair activities, shipping, and electrical/acoustical testing.
- Collaborate on new equipment/process implementation, and execution of improvements on existing equipment/processes.
- Represent Manufacturing Engineering Team to other teams in operations, serving as a liaison for process improvements, production activities, and data acquisition of failure modes and device/process analysis.
- Participate in deploying facility layout changes, as required.
- Lead and oversee rework efforts, as required.
- Perform quality checks on devices.
- Identify and drive improvement efforts to support cost, quality, delivery, and safety initiatives.
- As needed, collect and trend data on returned product and process failures, and provide recommendations to engineering team on process improvements to address root causes.
- Proactively identifies growth and development opportunities within their role both technical and professional and drives for continual improvement.
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of LEAN methodologies and applying such tools to operations.
- Hearing or medical device experience.
- 1-3 years of equipment experience in a production environment with assembly.
- Electronic assembly, firmware management, 3D printing systems, UV cure systems, acoustical test systems, laser marking.
- 1-3 years of experience working in a regulated environment (i.e. ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA QSR).
- Experience with data acquisition/analysis, and demonstrated ability for fact-based decision-making leveraging analytics.
