Manufacturing Cell Lead

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience OR In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.
• 5 years’ experience in hardware development and/or production/manufacturing/operations
• Leadership experience in manufacturing, planning, scheduling, operations, or related environments
• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Daily interaction with other cross-business teams to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives of achieving/exceeding cost, quality, schedule, and safety goals.
• Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities using Raytheon Technologies (RTX) CORE and lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Deployment of manufacturing operations strategy, control systems, tools, and metrics to accurately measure progress, identify defects, determine root cause, and develop/implement corrective action plans.
• Manpower planning
• Tracking and coordinating employee compliance and skills training
• Time and attendance tracking
• Area lay-out and flow management.
• Capital and tooling requirements.
• Enforcement of company policies, procedures, and labor contract
• Quality and Safety audit support
• Customer interaction

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace/defense industry
• Familiarity with Common Manufacturing Enterprise System (CMES)
• Experience utilizing lean manufacturing and CORE principles.
• Project leadership and process improvements
• Experience supervising bargaining unit employees
