Requirements
- 10+ years of Import Brokerage/Compliance Experience
- 3+ years supervisory experience
- Working knowledge of the HTS Classification
- Licensed Customs Broker
- Excellent customer service skills, including written and verbal communication
- Superior organizational skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong emotional resilience and positive solution focused mindset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM software experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Responsibilities
- Supervise, support, and ensure compliance with Tradewin/Client SOPs and regulatory standards
- Ensure we are meeting client’s expectations and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Maintain effective staffing, including participation in hiring activities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders
- Monitor metrics and reporting, develop solutions to ensure compliance
- Drive process efficiency and improvement
- Develop, train, mentor and conduct employee performance reviews and personnel development plans
- Proactively promote the company’s 10 cultural attributes: Appearance, Attitude, Confidence, Curiosity, Excellence, Integrity, Pride, Resolute, Sense of Humor, and Visionary
- Actively develop business for department through active involvement in sales and retention process and close coordination with Senior Manager, Director or Principal
- Work closely with the Senior Manager and support where needed
