Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience with strong preference for experience in workforce management and industrial engineering
- Financial forecasting
- Healthcare operations & analytics
- 1-3 years of experience planning and leading strategic initiatives
- Can communicate effectively and succinctly with a diverse range of stakeholders, both verbally and on paper, and with all levels of an organization up to and including VP and SVP audiences
- Foster effective working relations with and persuade diverse business leaders based on fact and reason, with an emphasis on achieving tangible results
- Strong analytic skills and fluency in Microsoft Excel, Teradata a plus
- Project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Proactively translate financial and operational results into actionable insights that support business partners in their strategic and operational decision-making, including for the executive leadership team at Monthly Business Reviews
- Alongside our analytics partners, aid in creation and automation of the reporting tools and dashboards to support the field in executing on our optimal labor strategies; Glean insights from these resources to advance labor optimization
- In coordination with Finance, Corp & Field Partners assist in development of annual labor budgets and in year forecasting based on our demand-driven staffing models
- Support on special projects to advance our labor strategy in critical areas such as the transition to primary care, the integration of brick & mortar and virtual workforce, and optimizing our provider scheduling strategy
- Design and conducting a complex analysis using large and sometimes messy data sets
- Developing key data points to guide opportunity evaluation and business case development
- Using critical thinking to frame business problems, acquire relevant data points, design analytical plans, and provide actionable insights and strategic solutions
- Brainstorming with your colleagues to build out a creative approach for a new problem
- Supporting in development of a strategic roadmap related to workforce management, labor modeling, colleague scheduling, and staffing
- Developing a ‘story’ and accompanying presentation that concisely summarizes findings across several initiatives and creates specific recommendations for the leadership team
- Building dashboards and reports to track the results of a new initiative
- Working to refine and automate meaningful data so insights can be updated and provided regularly
- Preparing materials and presentations in a way that can be easily understood by non-subject matter experts.
