Responsibilities
- Manage individual transformation projects within the Alcon Transformation & Continuous Improvement team and/or Global Shared Services.
- Enhance the company’s digital presence and improve customer engagement through enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
- Apply advanced knowledge to achieve project objectives and ensure project performance and operational efficiency.
- Conduct independent research and thought leadership activities to optimize project outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and provide oversight and guidance to project team members.
- Lead the development and execution of the platform’s operational excellence projects, incorporating Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to streamline manufacturing processes, enhance product quality, and drive sustained performance improvements.
- Ensure that all projects are supported by clear metrics, change management strategies, and knowledge transfer practices to embed continuous improvement into the platform’s daily operations.
- Develop and manage the platforms; continuous improvement project pipeline, including project justification, prioritization based on business impact, alignment with technical resources, and oversight of both capital and operational budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align the right technical resources and subject matter experts for each project.
- Maintain clear visibility of project status and performance metrics to ensure on-time, on-budget, and value-driven execution of all initiatives.
- Analyze various platform trends in performance to identify gaps, mitigate compliance risks, and generate data-driven recommendations that improve efficiency, product integrity, and operational consistency.
- Design and implement scalable frameworks and standards that embed a continuous improvement mindset across manufacturing and support teams, ensuring long-term adoption of Operational Excellence principles.
- Lead and execute structured change management practices to ensure alignment, engagement, and ownership across all impacted teams during the lifecycle of improvement projects.
