Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in building and managing a team of Technical Program Managers (TPMs).
- Experience in leading and collaborating with international suppliers and contract manufacturers to develop consumer electronics hardware.
- Proven experience in developing, launching, and scaling consumer electronics products into high-volume manufacturing.
- Experience conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Skilled in motivating, influencing, and resolving conflicts within cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and develop a global team of Camera and Depth Systems TPMs across the US and APAC, providing performance evaluations, continuous feedback, mentorship, and career development support for direct reports.
- Collaborate closely with engineering leadership and core technology teams to drive the definition, development, and deployment of advanced imaging and sensing technologies.
- Oversee resource planning within the TPM team and with cross-functional partners to drive the success of programs, teams, and the organization as a whole.
- Identify and address systemic, organization-wide challenges.
- Drive impactful outcomes and cultivate effective relationships with partner and stakeholder teams.
- Lead cross-functional development forums, setting an example through clear communication both upward and outward.
Preferred Qualifications
- Practical experience in developing camera and sensing technologies for consumer electronics at high volume.
- Experience in developing CV/ML-based tracking and 3D reconstruction algorithms.
- Leadership experience, both direct and indirect, guiding individuals and teams to collaborate, achieve goals, and foster growth.
