Requirements
- Bachelors in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience working in software engineering
- 2+ years of experience as an engineering manager
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of developers, in a fast-paced, quick-to-market environment
- Set the strategy, build a roadmap, create measurable goals, and lead your team to deliver
- Collaborate with Product, Operation, Data Science and Engineering teams, and executive stakeholders
- Evaluate the technical tradeoffs of major decisions and be a strong technical mentor
- Hire, grow and retain high-performing team members
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as an mobile client engineer
- Experience mobile client engineering at a large scale
- History of involvement in product roadmapping and decision making
- Track record of delivery in rapidly changing, highly collaborative, multi-stakeholder environments
- Experience with building and maintaining mission-critical and highly-available global systems
